Indicators

A small number of measures, each defined once, computed the same way every year, and published with the query that produced it.

An indicator is a question the record can answer repeatedly. The Institute will publish few of them, and will not change how one is computed without saying so and re-running the history. Each carries its definition, its sources, the version of the method used, and its known limits. Where the answer depends on a judgement, the judgement is marked as one.

Indicator 02 · Transmission · planned

The reception lag: French philosophy in English, 1990–2026

Indicator 03 · Production · planned

Nothing is published yet. The first indicator is scheduled for the Institute’s first year; it will appear here with its data and its method.
